systems

With our IN-PIPE ROBOTIC SYSTEMS, you can inspect and process ferritic and austenitic pipes with internal diameters between 35mm and 1500mm.

IBASS driving units with scissor technology [s-6] warrant the exact centered position of the robot in the pipe. They can pass junctions, and with tensile forces of up to 3000N advance up to 250 meters into the pipes.

Insertion depth is practically only limited by the number of bends in the pipe system, as frictional resistance of the pulled cables and hoses increases quickly with the number of bends. Wireless systems are also conceivable for certain applications and tasks.

Versions with double piston technology [DKT] enable the passage/processing of conical pipe sections. Our latest generations of robots, such as the E750s-6, allow for the working module to be precisely aligned to the pipes’ center axis featuring Compensation Hinge Unit [CHU] technology. Weld seams in pipes and elbow segments only accessible from one side, can now be fully processed and tested with this latest innovation.
