Modular Systems
IBASS Modular systems consist of a carriage (driving unit), the required various work or testing module plus one or more cameras for monitoring.
They can be manufactured for inner diameters from 150mm onward and greater. For straight pipes (with certain restrictions) starting at 65mm.
The advantages of the modular design are manifold. On the one hand, all required work can be covered with the respective work modules carried by the same driving unit. Systems can be composed to the exact customers needs and be easily fitted for given tasks with the individual components on site. They are easier to transport, maintain and handle, weigh less and allow for particularly space-saving usage in systems with restricted access, i.e. fittings or wedge plate valves. Because of that, IBASS pipe robots can operate within almost all pipe systems. When re-laying, finishing seams can also be edited.
